Our Journey: From SMS to a Complete CPaaS Solution

Combirds began its journey in 2017 as Edumarc Technologies Pvt Ltd, with a vision to simplify communication for schools. Our initial platform enabled schools to save contacts, create groups, and send SMS to students seamlessly. By 2018, we expanded our platform to support businesses for bulk SMS campaigns. In 2019, we introduced APIs, allowing businesses to integrate automated SMS and OTP solutions along with bulk messaging. With continuous innovation, we scaled to 100+ businesses by 2021, adding powerful features like advanced analytics, reporting, credit history, scheduling, and short URLs.

As the industry evolved with stricter TRAI DLT regulations and growing adoption of WhatsApp Business API, we quickly adapted—becoming a registered Telemarketer with telecom operators and expanding into multi-channel communication solutions like WhatsApp, Email, RCS, and Voice. Today, under the Combirds brand, we proudly serve 500+ businesses as a leading CPaaS provider, backed by a team of 8 dedicated professionals.

👨‍💻 Akshay Agarwal (Director & Co-founder) – With 10+ years of experience at Zynga Games and Novell, Akshay left his role as Tech Lead at Zynga to fully dedicate himself to Combirds.

🛠️ Dharmadev (Co-founder & CTO) – A backend expert with 10+ years of experience at Adobe, Groupon, and Nokia Siemens, leading our core technology innovations.

🎨 Danish Ansari (Co-founder & Frontend Lead) – A frontend specialist with 10+ years of experience at Walmart and via.com, shaping seamless user experiences for our platform.
